CUSTOMER TESTIMONIAL

"I am not your biggest
customer, I know, but in fact,
I have reason to believe that
the Cranberry I have been
buying from you for the past
two years is a very large factor
in keeping me alive and healthy, as I was diagnosed in 2001 with bladder cancer. I opted to refuse medical treatment, and at this point I am completely free of symptoms. Since Cranberry is the only thing I have taken regularly, I tend to believe it
has a lot do with my current state of health." - L. P. in MA

US JUICE ® Health Benefits of Grapes (concord)

Concord grapes are found growing throughout the American northwest and has many common medicinal uses and constituents.

Concord grapes were first used by native Americans in connection with a variety of conditions. They were used to relieve poor appetite and the root of the plant was made into tea for relieving jaundice, arthritis, diarrhea, fever, and many other health problems.

The medicinal effects of concord grapes are due to alkaloids including berberine, berbamine, canadine, and hydrastine. The alkaloid berberine in particular may be responsible for the grape's ability to treat diarrhea in people with E. coli and inhibit the ability of bacteria to attach to human cells, thereby preventing infection in the throat, intestines and urinary tract.

As an ointment applied topically, concord grapes may be somewhat effective for reducing skin irritation, inflammation, and itching in people with mild to moderate psoriasis.

Dosage and Administration

Concord grapes can be taken as a tea up to three times a day. The tea is prepared by boiling 1 to 3 teaspoons of concord grape juice powder in a few ounces of water. A doctor should be consulted before using concord grape on a severe infection.
